Qind Blogazine celebrates effective ways to be kinder to ourselves in all aspects of life. We do this by harnessing individual experiences to form a collective wisdom that benefits all. Through the creativity of people with different experiences and perspectives, Qind challenges two-dimensional linear-thinking and prevailing assumptions; and inspires active discussion that can help individuals make more informed decisions about a healthier, happier, fuller life.
Qind is Global, Artistic, Provocative, Inspiring, Entertaining, Inspiring & Sexy. With each issue we want you to become more aware of the individuals and the world around you, to feel challenged, to be moved, motivated and inspired by the images and stories, to laugh out loud at least twice, and to feel closer to a more sensual, sexual you.
To achieve this, we are dedicated to the following:
- To create a platform that presents issues that are in tune with the interests of our readership. Editorial content driven primarily by the readership. Readers suggest ideas for future issues and submit creative content based on issue briefs (text and/or images).
- To maintain an editorial balance between thought-provoking and fun and frivolous issues. Present the multi-dimensional nature of contemporary gay life. There is the fun and there is the serious. We have a place for both and much more besides!
- To create an open forum to share ideas and personal wisdom. Our readers have challenges, dreams and experiences to share on every conceivable topic. We present these voices in a non-judgemental, clear and articulate way to promote discussion and aid each other in our own personal development.
- To create value by marrying the virtual and real worlds. With the launch of each issue, Qind will host offline social events where contributors and readers will have the opportunity to have real debate and discussions. It is also an opportunity to meet diverse and interesting people in a comfortable setting where you do have something to talk about!
- To raise awareness of gay history and issues on a global level. Cosmopolitan centres of the Western world provide certain liberties that are still largely denied to the majority of our brethren elsewhere. Qind Blogazine looks to raise the awareness of the state of gay life across the world through the presentation of foreign cultures from a particular perspective to bring about change.
We encourage all our contributors, be they editors, writers, technologists, artists or readers to maintain the simple principles of letting go of preconceptions, having an open mind, being appreciative of what we have to share and learn, and having a willingness to embrace meaningful and productive ways of interacting with each other. Simply, let go, be thankful, be Qind.
