fashion forward out on the rack right now

After a cool, clean, winter ensemble very much of our times with just that little bit of detail that makes you stand out? Check out the stuff currently on the rack from Peoples Market.

what we think

The wonderful thing about Peoples Market is their price. The jeans have a retail vale of about £40. That is excellent considering the cut. Their collections are squarely geared for an urban clientel that is into fitted clothing that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Their Peacoat is certainly one that stands out in term so of cut and detail. They certainly hit the mark with it because it is apparently sold out with all retailers of it.

what they say about themselves

When it comes to the market of people, design director, Dexter Wong has been dressing youth cultures for decades. Dexter’s creations are not just collections, but genres unto themselves.

People’s Market clothing are made with individuality in mind and have found their way to the top, bottom, front and back of style icons like The Teenagers, Akiko (Comanechi), Carl Barat, The Holloways, Stricken City, The Mystery Jets, The Horrors and many many more.

where to find it

Top Shop / Asos.com / Revolveclothing.com / Number 22, Canarby Street, London

an aside

We thought Hiroki Otsuka's image goes pretty well with the spirit of People's Market. More from him later on in the issue.
